Project Preparation
Project scope (main output) | Property Hunter: When the TAED is completed, it will have about 4,500 apartments, 150 villas and 475 terraced houses. The tallest tower will be eight storeys high and each tower will be spaced far from the others, resulting in an overall lower density and green urban spaces.
Six hotels will be built — one four-star, four five-star and one six-star. There will also be 60,000 sq m of retail space EPD: Within its overal 739 acre development footprint, the project involves reclamation of approximately 444 acres (180 hectares), extending the existing shoreline between 100m to 1,000 meter further west. Existing 1.4km long beach at Tanjung Aru will be replaced with a new beach seaward of the existing and made wider with imported sand as part of the land reclamation. An area of 27 acres is allocated for the refurbishment of Prince Philip park , double the size of the current park. The project will feature two headland /breakwater areas with provision for marine vehicles. The marina provides for a total of 191 berths, ranging in size from 12 to 110 m. |
